ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Rebecca!

I’m a big believer your that home should be a refuge and a place to recharge your body, mind and soul so you can get back up and bring your best to the world. And that’s one of my motivations for writing this blog, to share ideas that will help you make your house feel more like home.

And I’m beyond thrilled that You’re here!! I am a believer, a wife to a guy I affectionately call “Buddy’, the mom to two creative, energetic children, and as of recently a writer/photographer/stylist/DIY-er to this little space on the internet. When my youngest child turned four, I felt the need to allow myself a creative outlet so I started to share some on Instagram, which you can find here.

Ever since I was a little girl growing up in Oklahoma, I had my head and heart set on whimsical things. As a young adult, I came across French Country & Shabby Chic decor books, and I was instantly enamored. The beauty and elegance of scrolling lines of French Country furniture and décor accompanied with the somewhat rugged elements often seen on the French Countryside like worn weathered wood, a patina finish or humble textiles create such a beautiful juxtaposition that allows for beauty & grace to coexist with a down to earth style that can be truly livable and comforting, and it reminds of how sometimes in life the perfect and the imperfect work together to tell the most beautiful story.
